ABOUT

Since 2020, Dogtek’s hunt service has proven effective at halting rat activity on sites in Brooklyn.
We break the chain of rat behavior that leads to visible activity by introducing apex predators into their environment.

As rat activity worsens in an area, communities often respond by increasing the number of bait stations—yet with no effect. In an urban environment, abundant food sources like trash mean that many rats never consume a substantial amount of poison.

Even when poison does kill a few, new rats are born, others migrate in, and the cycle of breeding and burrowing continues.

The capable predators at Dogtek do what poison cannot. We communicate with the rats and send a clear message: this is not a safe place to make a home.

Our dog team is also unrivaled in their ability to detect rats in complex or dense environments like warehouses and garages.

If you’re noticing the early signs of rat activity on your property, a one-time visit can map their behavior, present an analysis, and implement changes to the built environment—preventing further incursions.
